With the leading of the experienced instructors you can obtain following kinds of licences:

GLD – the pilot of gliders

Conditions:

• age minimum of 15 years
• good health
• sufficiency of a free time

  The interested person is included to the practical training after the acquaintance with the conditions of flying in Aeroclub Prievidza, completing theoretic preparation and medical examination. The training is practised on two kinds of gliders – Twin Astir Trainer.

The graduate will obtain the GLD licence after fulfilling the aviation training plan (cca 30 hours), passing theoretic and practical exams. The graduate of this training as a member of Aeroclub Prievidza has a possibility for recreational or sport flying the planes in the ownership of Aeroclub and for recondition on another kinds of planes.

PPL – the private pilot of aeroplane

Conditions:

• age minimum of 16 years
• good health

The interested person is included to the practical training after the acquaintance with the conditions of flying in Aeroclub Prievidza, completing theoretic preparation and medical examination. The training is practised on the kind of plane WT9 Dynamic, that is the well-known product of AEROSPOOL company at Prievidza Airfield. The graduate will obtain the PPL licence after fulfilling the aviation training plan (cca 45 hours), passing theoretic and practical exams. The graduate of this training as a member of Aeroclub Prievidza has a possibility for recreational or sport flying the planes in the ownership of Aeroclub, for recondition on another kinds of planes or to continue in training for obtaining the qualification of commercial pilot in the flying school.

Owner of the licence can fly the following aeroplane:

SEP(L) – single engine planes with piston engine to the total flight weight of 5700 kg

TMG – motored gliders

ULL – ultralight planes to the total flight weight of 480 kg
